Our Pharmacy Team

CSI Pharmacy believes in taking a multidisciplinary approach in an effort to maximize patient safety. We work closely with your doctor(s) and other caregivers to ensure that you receive the best possible care and treatments.

We make sure that you understand how to use your medicine and that you always have the right dose. The pharmacy sends your medicine to your home and our clinical team is available to answer your questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Our Process

The process begins with an initial clinical assessment. Our pharmacists will review your medical records, past medical history, and prescriber’s orders. We will investigate to see if you have any risk factors related to your order and determine if any potential drug interactions may cause you problems. Our pharmacists will also ask about your preferences for scheduling of care, delivery of medication and supplies, home environment, and other special needs you may have.

Therapies Designed to be as Unique as YOU!

Our pharmacists use their therapeutic knowledge to create a specific plan of care for your treatment. We believe every person is unique and has different needs. It is our goal to tailor your treatment to provide what is right for you. This individual care plan is then condensed into a detailed written order (DWO) which will be faxed to your prescriber for their approval.

Approximately a week prior to your initial infusion or the next refill, we will call you to coordinate and schedule your delivery.

During your call, you or your caregiver will be asked questions such as:

How are you doing with your therapy?
Have there been any changes to your medication?
Are you experiencing any side effects or reactions?
What supplies will you need for your next treatment?
Where would you like us to send your next refill?

How long does it take to get my order?

After we confirm your order, CSI Pharmacy provides free, secure, overnight delivery. Your medication may require a prior authorization from your insurance company, which requires additional information prior to covering your medication. This may delay the initial processing of your order, but you will be informed about progress throughout the process. If your order is missing any information, CSI Pharmacy may need to contact your doctor or insurance company to obtain additional information.

Where will you send my
medicine and supplies?

A member of the CSI Pharmacy staff will contact you about your preferences for where your order is delivered. We will ship your order, free of charge, to your home, business, or other location. We include all the necessary supplies for your treatment.

How will my medicine stay safe
during delivery?

All items are safely and securely packaged with appropriate insulation. Medications that require refrigeration are securely packaged and shipped inside either a styrofoam cooler or an insulated pouch. Special ice packs are included to help ensure your medication maintains the proper temperature throughout delivery. Finally, each box is secured with tamper resistant tape.
